Kortfilmsdagen is an initiative by Folkets Bio for celebrating the shortest day of the year with short film. Taking place every year 21 December in theaters and on the web, countless shorts are displayed all over Sweden celebrating film to forget about the Scandinavian everlasting winter darkness .
